Paris
Paris is one of the best known cities in the world and is the capital of France. Paris is based in the Île-de-France region and sits on the river seine in northern France. Paris has an estimated population of around over 2 million but the actual area including all the urban area’s is more like 12 million making it the biggest and highest populated city in the country by far and one of the biggest in Europe.
Paris produces more than a quarter of the entire countries gross income making it one of the most important cities in the whole of Europe.

Undoubtedly Paris most famous land mark is the Eiffel Tower but it also has a number of other landmarks such as Notre Dame de Paris, Arc de Triomphe as well as the famous Disneyland Paris.
It is also a very popular destination for tourists attracting around 45 million visitors each year.
Paris leads the way in centres of culture, politics, education, fashion and arts and boasts some of the world most beautiful architecture.
Paris is also the home of fashion and has 2 fashion weeks each year. Most of not all of the worlds fashion houses have their headquarters in Paris and it is looked upon as the fashion capital of the world.
