French Wine
French wine can be traced back to the 6th century BC. Their wine is produced in several different regions of France and the country is the largest exporter of wine in the world, around 7 million bottles each year and are responsible for a massive 34 percent of the world market share.
FRENCH WHITE WINE

France has many grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay as well as several wine making techniques that are copied throughout the world. Demand for wine in France has decreased over the last 10 years which is blamed on a decline in consumption as well as competition from other wine producing countries like South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Sales of prestige wines from areas like Burgundy and Bordeaux have suffered not because of their quality but the rise in value.
