Champagne-Ardenne is a region of France that is located in the north east of the country and borders Belgium. The region is undoubtedly most famous for its sparkling white wine, known to most people as champagne. The area has several rivers that flow through the region, the Seine and the Marne being two of them.
Most people who go to Champagne visit because of its famous wine but it also has a very rich history with its heritage and cuisine. The area has some wonderful landscapes, particularly its forests and lakes and is a great destination for hiking.
