Bordeaux is located on the west coast of France and is capital of the Aquitaine region. Bordeaux is a port city and has a population of around one million people.
The city is one of the most famous wine making centres in the world and has been producing wine since the 8th century.

Bordeaux also known as “City of Art and History” is on the World Heritage List as its home to some of the most century architectural urban areas in the world, making it a popular destination for tourists.
Bordeaux’s climate is warm thanks to its westerly winds from the Atlantic Ocean and the effect of the Bay of Biscay. Its summers can be very warm and the winters very mild making a pleasant place to live all year round
